Catherine Cross is one of our key Communications Coaches serving Manchester and North of England cities. Catherine has delivered sought-after Crisis Communications and Crisis Media Interview Skills courses globally for almost 20 years.
Her training combines the invaluable experience she has gained in both the journalistic and PR fields. She has worked with numerous internationally-renowned corporate clients, using her extensive knowledge of journalism from almost ten years as a reporter, producer and presenter in local radio, BBC network radio, Regional Television, and at the World Service.
After moving into the PR world, Catherine became the Training Manager for Shandwick International (now Weber Shandwick) and, for nine years until March 2017, was the Director/Lead Counsel of Hill+Knowlton Strategies’ Media Training Team in London, running crisis training courses around the world.
Catherine has trained clients in virtually every sector and at every level of employee, from the CEO downwards. She has helped companies plan and prepare for potential crisis issues, as well as handling real-life crisis situations such as redundancies, mergers and acquisitions and factory closures.
Her excellence was recognised by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations which awarded her Approved Trainer status nine years running until the scheme ended.
